I will teach you about love and loss and the many layers of both. I will show you how deeply loveable you are and teach you how to value yourself first before valuing another. I know, it sounds selfish, but it is the only way to be truly selfless. You cannot be of service to others unless you know how to serve yourself, and you cannot selflessly love another unless you truly love yourself. And if you value another's love above your own, pieces of you will surely die, and I will show you why all parts of you need to live.

I will show you how to keep your heart open even in the pain. The pain of life that comes from living in this world, in this time and place. The pain you carry that is not yours, and the pain that belongs to you. I will teach you how to be with it all. And when the anguish causes you to burst into flames from the inside out, I will be with you. At times, all you will see is pain. You will not see I am there, but I promise, I will find a way to remind you how to come back home. And each time you come back home we will dance despite the pain, and we will play like children, and you will remember…again. And you will have the courage to step back into the fire so another heavy layer can be burned away.

I will teach you what you are and what you are made of. You are life itself and I will show you how to embrace it. You are the emptiness between breaths, and I will help you be in it. And you will know how to walk this earth as a divine human.

Dear child, there is so much for you to learn. I know you are scared and distrustful but it’s ok to trust now. I know the world around you has failed you most of your life, and I know you think you failed yourself. But look up. Look at where you are now. It’s ok. You are ok. You are more than ok. Remember the darkness you came from and know that you are the light that brought you out of those depths. Life did not fail you and you did not fail you. I will show you why it all needed to be. I will show you why it all is. The world doesn’t revolve around you, you are the world, and that is just a grain of what you are.

And as you begin to connect with me, your essence, you will see how connected you are to Earth and all that is around you. I will teach you about that connection and show you how to speak languages that have no words. Child, you will love it! You will remember what you are and why you came here. You will dance in celebration of the union of your soul, and you will know the gifts you bring to this world and give them freely.

I will teach you everything, child, and it will be amazing, but you must not be afraid to live. Trust in me and trust in you and know that we are the same. You brought yourself here and you will not fail you. Trust that I am with you, and I have everything you need inside of you. Embrace the life that is coming to you. Step into it with courage. Step into the uncertainty and the fear. Step into the possibility of failure and know that it is ok if you don’t “get it right” because you couldn’t possibly get it wrong. Get dirty, be vulnerable, be unapologetically you, so I can show you how loveable you are. Breathe deep my child and remember who you are and why you came here.
